Practical Steps to Update Your WhatsApp Number in SIAKAD
Want to change the WhatsApp number registered in the UNS SIAKAD system? Don’t worry, you can easily do it yourself through the official website without any hassle. Updating your WhatsApp number is very important so that you can still receive verification codes when logging in with Single Sign-On (SSO). Just follow the steps below.
- First, log in at https://siakad.uns.ac.id using your SSO account
- Find the registration menu and click it
- Select biodata
- Update your biodata (especially the WhatsApp number) and make sure it has been saved
- Open the page https://profil.uns.ac.id/site/kodeVerifikasi
- Enter your SSO email and password
- Solve or type the captcha code shown
- An 8-digit backup code will then automatically be sent to your newly changed WhatsApp number
- Go to the page https://bit.ly/LoginSSOUNS
- Log in using your SSO email
- Select the “try another way” option and choose the 8 (eight) digit verification code
- Enter the 8 (eight) digit code that was previously sent to your WhatsApp
- Once successful, activate 2-step verification by adding the updated phone number
- Enter the verification code sent via SMS to the added number
- Make sure 2-step verification is active
- Log in to your SSO email using “try another way”, then select the latest phone number
After following the steps above, your WhatsApp number in SIAKAD has been successfully updated and 2-step verification on SSO is active with your latest number.
